Five hurt in gas cylinder leak

Anantapur: Five persons suffered burns in an LPG gas cylinder leak at Gondlapathy Kothapalle village in Rapthadu mandal in the district on Monday morning.

The accident took place in the house of one Vadla Kesavachari while changing the regulator of a gas cylinder which leaked and caught fire. One of the injured was rushed to Bangalore for treatment while four others were being treated in Anantapur government hospital.

Sub-Inspector K.Raghavan of Raptadu police station is investigating.
