CHENNAI: Ten players — Syed Anwar Shazuli, D.P. Singh, K. Gunasekaran, R. Bharathi, Mugil Jayavel, G. Aakash, T. Gowtham, P. Lokesh, K. Venkat Sundram and S. Kaushik — all with 4 points each are in joint lead at the end of the fourth round of the CPCL 2nd Manali FIDE-rated open chess tournament.

In the CPCL- State women's championship, top seed J. Saranya (Tvlr) C.H. Savetha (Chennai) and J. Mohana Priya (Kanchi) share the lead with 4 points each.
