Collector inspects enumeration of huts

TIRUCHI: Enumeration of huts for providing free concrete houses under the Kalaignar Housing Scheme is now in full swing in Tiruchi district, said Collector T.Soundiah, on Tuesday.

The Collector, who inspected the work of enumeration of huts under the scheme in Manapparai block in the district, said that the enumeration work was in full swing in all the 408 village panchayats. He saw the enumeration work in Mondipatti and Kalathupatti panchayats in Manapparai block. He appealed to the people to extend co-operation to the officials deputed for enumeration work.

Mr Soundiah also inspected the Manapparai-Thuvarankurichi highway work taken up under the Prime Minister's Sadak Yojana. R.Leelavathi, tahsildar of Manappara, Rajendran and Panneerselvam, panchayat union commissioners accompanied the Collector during his inspection.
