Nominations invited for national productivity achievement award

TIRUCHI: Tiruchi Productivity Council (TPC) has invited nominations for the scheme of Life Time Achievement / Recognition Award introduced recently by the National Productivity Council.

According to the Hon-Secretary General of TPC, Raja Mutthirulandi, those who have made outstanding contributions to increase productivity in the country and are according further impetus to the promotion of productivity movement in the country can apply for the prestigious national level award.

Nominations will be accepted from those who have significantly contributed to the enhancement of productivity in their work / industries.

Prof. Mutthirulandi said that the contributions of applicants must have created a significant impact in productivity related activities. To facilitate deserving achievers, the TPC will provide free of cost copies of the award details along with the questionnaire and proforma for nomination through its Secretariat at 24, Nachiyar Koil Road, Woraiyur, Tiruchi – 620003.

The minimum age limit of the applicant is 50 years as on August, 2010. The areas of achievements of the nominees may include original thinking, research, or development in devising new concepts and technology for increasing productivity; application of techniques in special fields of activity which lead to higher productivity; Institution building for increasing productivity; and propagation of the concept and techniques of productivity improvement through publications, training activities, or other means.
