PATHANAMTHITTA: A seminar on “Global warming and post-Copenhagen challenges to Kerala's power sector” will be held during the annual general body meeting of the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) Engineers' Association in Thrissur on Sunday. In a statement here on Thursday, George Mathew, general secretary of the association, said Revenue Minister K.P. Rajendran would inaugurate the meeting. Arunkumar from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee; P.M. Chacko, former president of Institution of Engineers (India); and Navas Ebin Mohammed, student at College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram; would make presentations at the seminar. U. Lazer John, Principal of Jyothi Engineering College, Thrissur, would be the moderator. Shailendra Dubey, secretary-general, All India Power Engineers Federation, Delhi; L. Ravi, president, Karnataka Electricity Board Engineers' Association; and K. Venugopal, Deputy Chief Engineer, Kerala State Electricity Board, would speak.
