CSSF ‘A' to meet VBCA

CHENNAI: CSSF ‘A' and VBCA advanced to the final of the under-14 Dicky Memorial cricket tournament with semifinal wins here on Friday.

CSSF recorded a six-wicket win over Prahlad CA, while VBCA defeated FSCA by 34 runs thanks to the efforts of Samruddh Bhat (61) and Asif Salim (three wickets).

The scores: Prahlad 77 for nine in 30 overs lost to CSSF ‘A' 78 for four in 16.4 overs; VBCA 174 in 30 overs (Samruddh Bhat 61, Shyam Sybdar 43) bt FSCA 140 in 28.1 overs (Asif Salam three for 23) .
