KARIMNAGAR: The Karimnagar district police in collaboration with Indian Medical Association and AP Private Nursing Homes and Hospitals Association have conducted a free medical camp in the interior naxalite affected Veernapalli village of Yellareddypet mandal on Sunday. The organisers have distributed about Rs. 4 lakh worth medicines. The police also provided free food and transportation facilities to the villagers coming from the adjoining villages to the camp. Speaking on the occasion, Superintendent of Police N Shivashankar Reddy said that the interior villages were denied of development because of naxalite presence.
