Collector receives over 500 petitions

DHARMAPURI: Collector P. Amutha received as many as 514 petitions at the weekly grievances day programme at the Collectorate here on Monday.

She instructed the officials to dispose them of as early as possible.

She also gave away welfare assistance to the tune of Rs. 5.82 lakh to 41 persons under various schemes.

Disbursing the cheques, she also advised the recipients to know about the welfare schemes fully and deposit the assistance in the banks as fixed deposits and utilise it later for useful purposes.

Krishnagiri

Collector V.K. Shanmugam received 250 petitions at the grievances day programme in Krishnagiri on Monday. G. Luxmi Priya, Additional Collector (Development) and S. Priya, Project Officer, NCLP, were present.
