COIMBATORE: Students awaiting Plus-Two results and mulling over choice of colleges, courses and anything related to admission like eligibility and so on, have a host of websites to visit. The collegesintamilnadu.com. site with its much popular rank analysis has been among the top for the past couple of years. Feed in the Plus-Two registration number and click submit. This does not only give one's aggregate marks for medicine and engineering, but also the number of students who have the same aggregate and those who have a higher one. “Though this is not the final rank list, the rank analysis help students know whether they stand a better chance in medical or engineering counselling before the final list is released,” says R.V. Srivatsan, Director of Adroit Techno Solutions, Chennai, who has hosted the site. Every year the site comes up with something novel. In keeping with the tradition, this year, there are cash prizes to be given away to toppers who register on the site. Students awaiting Plus-Two results can register till 7.30 a.m. on the day of the publication of the results . Three toppers from those registered in the site will get cash prizes. The first prize is Rs. 25,000, the second is Rs. 15,000, and third Rs. 10,000. Ten others, selected randomly from those registered, will get consolation prizes of Rs. 1,000 each. The prizes are sponsored by Sri Sai Engineering College, Chennai, according to Mr. Srivatsan.
