Mysore: Thirty more mobile towers in Mysore and two towers in Chamarajanagar will be established in the coming months to facilitate 3G service. BSNL General Manager G. Gowrishankar told The Hindu that 3G service is available only in Mysore city and Chamarajnagar town and there are plans of expanding the service to Nanjangud, the industrial hub.The mobile customer base in the two districts is around 1.62 lakh, including 1.55 lakh of pre-paid customers and 7,000 post-paid customers. There are 50 BSNL mobile towers in Mysore city and two in Chamarajanagar town.
