Swastik CP beats Sri Lankan outfit

CHENNAI: Swastik Cricket Promoters chalked out a three-wicket win over Manshire CC and A from Sri Lanka in a match in the Velammal-Swastik Cricket tournament being held here.

The scores: Manshire CC and A (Sri Lanka) 124 in 25 overs (Vimukthi Ashen 30; N. Harish three for 27, Santosh Pandian three for 19, Yoganandham three for 22) lost to Swastik Cricket Promoters 125 for seven in 23.5 overs (J. Vignesh 34, Binoy 25 not out)

RSJCC 189 in 30.3 overs (D. Govinda Raj 38, M. Yuvaraj 29, P. Francis Rokins 37; D.S. Prakash Kumar three for 36, T. Vijay four for 32) bt Swastik Cricket Promoters 184 for seven in 40 overs (S. Harish Babu 46, A. Jerome 29, R. Naresh 48, Samuel Durairaj 27; P. Francis Rokins three for 39).

CSCA beats DOSS Camp XI

CSCA registered a seven-wicket win over DOSS Camp XI in a match of the Star Cricket Club U-14 tournament here on Monday.

In another match, Dinesh hit 77 to help YMCA post a 69-run win over Kedar CC.

The scores: DOSS Camp XI 133 for four in 25 overs lost to CSCA 134 for three in 19 overs (K. Akash 31, Manoj 32 not out).

Sanjeevi 175 for four in 25 overs (N. Bharat Bhusan 58, Abishek Sunder 54) bt Kanaiah 140 for six in 25 overs (C.R. Shiva 62).

YMCA 193 for seven in 25 overs (Dinesh 77) bt Kedar 124 in 25 overs.

Prasanna shines

V. Prasanna's unbeaten 27-ball 35 brought about a three-wicket win for Chennai Stars over Unique in a match of the Dr. Vimala Convent-CSCA U-13 Trophy tournament here on Monday.

The scores: NC CA 126 for eight in 25 overs (Keshav 35 not out) lost to N. Kanniah 127 for six in 19.1 overs (Mohana Ramgan 26, Mokit Hariharan 27; Avinash three for 22).

Unique 113 in 23.2 overs (Anirudh 26, J. Srimon three for 21, R. Gowtham three for 22) lost to Chennai Stars 114 for seven in 17 overs (V. Prasanna 35 not out).

Sai bats well

S. Sai Sabarish struck an unbeaten 69 in CSSF's 10-wicket win over FSCA ‘B' in the Dr. KSL under-12 cricket tournament here on Monday.

In another match, LMCA, helped by an unbeaten 54 from Joshva, scored an eight-wicket win over Sanjeevi.

The scores: Sanjeevi 145 for nine in 25 overs (Rohit 27, T. Ashwin four for 19, G. Calvian three for 26) lost to LMCA 146 for two in 18.3 overs (Joshva 54 n.o., T. Ashwin 26 n.o.).

FSCA ‘B' 118 for eight in 25 overs (S. Harish 26) lost to CSSF 120 for no loss in 12.3 overs (S. Sai Sabarish 69 n.o.).

Abhijith scalps five

Abhijith Venkatesh picked up five wickets for six runs to help Prahlad notch up a nine-wicket win over Little Hearts ‘B' in a match of the LHCA-Parents Trophy under-11 cricket tournament here on Monday.

The scores: FSCA 156 for seven in 25 overs (B. Ashwin 61, Vishwanathan 36) bt Little Hearts ‘A' 89 in 22.5 overs (Paramesh Athreya 33); Little Hearts ‘B' 54 in 23.4 overs (Abhijith Venkatesh five for six) lost to Prahlad 55 for one in 7.4 overs .

Chennai CA trounces LMCA

Sidharth Sai Kumar picked up four wickets to help Chennai CA to a ten-wicket win over LMCA in a match of the Prahalad under-10 tournament here on Monday.

The scores: Kedar 139 for three in 25 overs (P.B. Athindra 51) lost to Abdul Jabbar 142 for six in 24.4 overs (P. Adithya 31, P. Abijeeth 36, Nikhil three for 16).

LMCA 51 in 11.2 overs (Sidharth Sai Kumar four for 10, Krishna Prasadh three for 11) lost to Chennai 55 for no loss in 3.5 overs.

Vignesh slams century

G.V. Vignesh's 102 enabled St. Patrick's defeat Pace Academy by 82 runs in the H. Sundaram Memorial Trophy cricket tournament here on Monday.

Venkatesh's half-century helped FSCA overhaul Kedar CA's 115 for eight in another match.

The scores: Kedar CA 115 for eight in 30 overs (R. Shubam 28, S. Aravind 28) lost to FSCA (Kiran Akash 25, Venkatesh 54); St. Patrick's 200 for two in 30 overs (G.V. Vignesh 102, Satya Narayan 50, Rameez Raja 37) bt Pace Academy 118 in 29.5 overs (M.J. Washington Sundar 43, Satya Narayan three for 18) .
