BANGALORE: Liyan Khan's all-round show (three for 48 and 46) and Karthik's five-wicket haul helped Malleswaram Gymkhana defeat Friends Union CC (2) by five wickets in a KSCA Group I, second division league match here recently.

City Cricketers (1) 128 in 42.1 overs (Rajesh 37, Yatish 29, Sinan Abdul Khader three for 31) lost to Bangalore United CC (1) 129 for four in 23 overs (Harsha 36, Manoj 32, Siddarth 28 n.o.).

Jayanagar Colts 262 in 55 overs (Sachin Shinde 81, Imran 73, Ashok 61, Sunil six for 67, Samrath three for 34) drew with Vijaya CC 256 for nine in 41 overs (Harsha Kumar 68, Arun 60, Bharath 35, Sunil 27, Sandeep four for 51).

Dolphin Cricketers 170 in 50.4 overs (Roshan 71, Manjunath Naik 32 n.o., Anand Kumar seven for 63) lost to Jolly Cricketers 174 for three in 26.3 overs (Vijay Chavan 50 n.o., Rohan Shah 50 n.o., Tariq 35, Vijay Bhaskar 28, Nagendra three for 58).
