SRIKAKULAM: Factual information should be provided to enumerators in the ongoing census, district Collector N. Srikant told people on the last day of Praja Patham at Makivalasa in Narsannapeta mandal on Friday. The formulation of various government schemes in the next decade would depend upon the data provided, he said. Families not enumerated might lose out, he cautioned. MLA Dharmana Krishnadas stressed the need for health awareness. He said irregularities in sanction of houses at Makivalasa were identified. They would be rectified and the eligible would be given houses. On a complaint from villagers, the Collector and the MLA questioned the medical officer on not attending to duties regularly. The medical officer stated that he would be regular in future. A woman complained that she had not received wages for last year's work in NREGS and the assistant PO explained that it was deposited in post office.
