Loysin Beneicks Nagercoil: Students of Alphonsa Matriculation School have bagged the first three ranks in Kanyakumari district in the higher secondary examinations. Layiden Beneiks (1178) secured the first rank, Manjith Manoharan (1174) came second and Noel James (1171) stood third. All three want to become doctors.Though Maria Josephine Priyanka of the same school secured the highest marks of 1184, she could not be declared district first since she took French as the first language. Maria said she said feel disappointed but was only happy for her schoolmates' achievement. Kanyakumari district has registered a pass percentage of 84.53.
