COIMBATORE: C. Sini of CMS Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Ganapathy, has secured the State second rank in Malayalam. Daughter of an auto driver, M. Chenthamarakshan, the girl has scored 192 in the subject.

Her marks in other subject: English 159, Computer Science 148, Economics, 184, Commerce 173 and Accountancy 196. The State rank came as a surprise to her. “I always knew somebody from my school would secure a State rank in the subject but never thought it would be me. Even after completing the exam I did not expect a rank,” says the girl whose mother tongue is Malayalam.

She plans to pursue chartered accountancy and would do so after joining B.Com. Her other interests include drawing and dancing, which she has learnt for four years.
