Asian rugby tournament

NEW DELHI: China, Philippines and Thailand along with host India will compete in the HSBC Asian rugby competition at the University Stadium, North Campus, on June 2 and 5.

India will meet China in the inaugural match under floodlights at 5.30 p.m., and that will be followed by the match between Philippines and Thailand. The competition will resume on June 5, with the winners of the first day meeting each other in the climax.

The winner of the Division ‘II' tournament will qualify for Division I, and the team that finishes last will be relegated to Division ‘III'. Entry will be free for the spectators.
