Bagan to retain Barreto, Chidi
KOLKATA: Mohun Bagan decided to repose its faith in the existing striking combination of Brazilian Jose Ramirez Barreto and Nigerian Edeh Chidi for another season. The club announced on Monday that it has decided to retain the services of its two foreign recruits and has signed a deal with them for the upcoming season (2010-2011).
The club said it is yet to finalise the name of its third foreigner though a few names have been short-listed. The club, which has McDowell as its title sponsor, announced the name of a local business conglomerate, ICore, as an associate sponsor for the new season. — Principal Correspondent
