State chess championship
CHENNAI: The 58th Tamil Nadu State FIDE rated chess championship for the V.J. Brahmiah rolling shield will be held at Dharani Matriculation school, Mannargudi, Tiruvarur district from May 22 to 29.
Total prize fund is Rs. 1, 00, 000. Registered players of Tamil Nadu State Chess Association (2010-2011) are eligible to participate.
Every affiliated unit of the State association can send in four entries and every academy, recognised by the State association two entries.
