Semifinalists spotted

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The semifinalists were spotted in the boys' under-10 section of the Sree Chitra State tennis championships at the TTC courts here on Tuesday.

C.S. Sanjay, U. Arjun, S. Hiten and Aadil Sanjeed won their quarterfinals matches comfortably to complete the semifinals line-up.

The results: Boys: U-12: Pre-quarterfinals: Gautham Krishnan bt Allan John 7-0; Suraj B. Sanu 7-1; G.S. Sanjay bt Siva Sankar 7-1; Mohammed Siddan bt Jishnu Jayatilak 7-1; Sean Michael Jose bt Vishnu J. Nair 7-0; Ram Narayan bt Rahul Roy Mathew 7-0; Tarun T. Kurien bt Hiten 7-2.

First round: Aamir Sohrab bt Bharath Karthik 9-0; Naveet Ajith bt Dilip Purohit 9-2; Varun Nair bt Augustube Edward 9-4; J. Nandu bt Sree Ganeshan 9-1; Revanth Kishore Kumar bt Kshitij Dewan 9-1.
