NEW DELHI: Three young men have been arrested for allegedly robbing two Manipur residents in North Delhi earlier this month.
A.S. Wungnaoso Zimik and his friend Ngasoching Zimik were on their way home on May 10 when two young men allegedly robbed them of a mobile phone and Rs.3,500 at Nehru Vihar. One of the robbers attacked Ngasoching when he offered resistance.
Taking up investigation, the police arrested Naveen of Jagatpur village in Delhi. During interrogation, Naveen purportedly confessed to having robbed the two along with his accomplices Pawan and Suraj. While Naveen and Pawan robbed the two men, Suraj waited for them on a motorcycle.
