KOCHI: A seminar on ‘issues in indirect taxes' was organised by the Ernakulam branch of Southern India Regional Council of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, here on Tuesday. Madhukar N.Hiregange, vice-chairman, Indirect taxes Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), New Delhi, inaugurated the seminar. K. J. Vincent, Deputy Commissioner (Law), Department of Commercial Taxes, was among those who presented papers at the seminar on indirect taxes. SIRC Chairman Babu Abraham Kallivayalil, Regional Council member V.X.Jose, Ernakulam branch chairman V.K.Govind and Secretary Mathew Joseph and others attended the function.
