KOLKATA: Three young players have been selected for specialised training under coaches visiting from Arsenal FC here in June. Sanjeev S. (Kendriya Vidyalaya DRDO), Karthik G. (Corporation HS, Bangalore) and Sudipto Banik (Nimta HS, Kolkata) were picked from a National skills contest which was part of the Tata Tea Jaago Re Soccer Stars schools' football tournament, which had its final recently in Shillong. Air Force School Subroto Park New Delhi beat Ghola Junior High School, Kolkata 3-2 via the tie-breaker to lift the title. TT coaching camp Around 60 boys and girls between the age-group of six to 14 will be taking part in a month-long summer coaching camp organised by Ballygunge Brati Sangha in association with West Bengal Table Tennis Association. The trainees will be selected from different schools from the city. The camp, to be held under the supervision of State and SAI certified coaches, will be ending with a three-day tournament for the trainees.
