Jamabandi meetings held

TIRUCHI: As many as 1,341 petitions were received from the public at the Jamabandi meetings conducted in all the taluks in Tiruchi district on Wednesday of which immediate action was taken on 671 petitions of various nature and orders were issued to the beneficiaries. Collector T. Soundiah said on Thursday that the jamabandi meeting in Mannachanallur taluk was presided over by the District Revenue Officer and by Deputy Collectors in rest of the taluks in the district.

He said that action would be taken on the remaining 670 petitions by the Revenue and other departments.
