Sayed in the van

CHENNAI: Sayed Ahmad of KGA, Bangalore, who started the day in second position returned with a card of one-under-71 for a three-day total of two-over-par 218 to emerge on top in the boys' section of the Toyota Etios Junior Golf Tour at the Ootacumund Golf Club course on Thursday.

In Category B, Honey Baisoya of Delhi GC finished at the top with a three-day total of 14-over-par 230.

In Category C, Viraj Madappa (Tollyganj GC, Kolkota) maintained his lead after finishing with a card of four-over76.

In Category D (boys and girls), second-placed Harshjeet Sethi of DLF GC replaced overnight leader Devansh Chaddha of RCGC, Kolkata to finish first in his category.

In the girls' section, Vani Kapoor of DLF GC, Gurgaon, Gurbani Singh of Delhi GC and Sehar Atwal of Delhi GC continue to lead in Category A, B & C respectively.
