Plus One trial allotment on June 1

KOCHI: Students who have applied for Plus One programme in Ernakulam district under the single-window system can verify and make amendments, if necessary, in their application forms before Wednesday evening. According to the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, the trial allotment is likely to be held on June 1. The first allotment would be on June 9. Students can change their options till the time prescribed by the directorate.

S. S. Anilkumar, Regional Deputy Director of Higher Secondary Education, told The Hindu on Tuesday that students should request the principal of the school, where the application form was submitted, to make the amendments. They should make the corrections before 5 p.m. on Wednesday evening.

Students should submit a letter to the principal of the school, where the application form is submitted, if he or she wants to make any corrections in the application form.

Mr. Anilkumar said that the data entry process, held as part of the admission, was completed by Monday late night. He said that students can check the status of the application forms at the higher secondary directorate's admission portal, www.hscap.kerala.gov.in. Candidates can enter the site by keying in their application number.

A trial allotment will be held to avoid mistakes before the first official allotment. Students can make changes like the school selected for study and the subject combination after the trial allotment.

They will get a preliminary picture about the school and the academic programme that they might get after the trial allotment. No corrections will be made in the application form after the prescribed time of the official allotment.
