Jamabandhi schedule for Pudukottai

PUDUKOTTAI: The following is the schedule of ‘Jamabandhi' to be held in parts of the district:

Karambakudi Taluk Office: June 2 for Mazhaiyur firka; June 3 for Karambakudi firka. The District Collector will preside over the ‘jamabandhi'.

Taluk Office, Avudaiyarkovil: June 2 for the Ponpethi firka; June 3 for the Meemisal firka; June 4 for the Embal firka; June 8 for the Avudaiyarkovil.

In a press release issued here on Friday, A. Suganthi, Collector, said that in addition to the above schedule, special ‘jamabandhi' would be held from June 2 to 11 for the Manalmelkudi taluk; Alangudi taluk; Pudukottai taluk; Gandarvakottai taluk; Iluppur taluk; Tirumayam taluk; Ponnamaravathy taluk; Aranthangi taluk.

The ‘jamabandhi' would be held at the Taluk offices from 9 a.m. At the end of the ‘jamabandhi' a meeting with the members of the public would be held.
