Explosives seized

BERHAMPUR: Personnel of the Special Operation Group (SOG) seized explosives and other Maoist materials during a raid on a secret camp of ultras near Baunsaguda village under Mathili police station in Malkangiri district of south Orissa on Friday.

In another development three elected members of panchayat bodies in Chandrapur block of Rayagada district resigned from their posts due to alleged threat of Maoists. According to Malkangiri district police headquarter; three troupes of SOG personnel had raided on a secret camp of Maoists operating in the jungle near Baunsaguda village.
