CUTTACK: Orissa State chapter of Indian Society of Gastroenterology (ISG) and the Kalinga Gastroenterology Foundation (KGF) observed the World Digestive Health Day at a function held in Bhubaneswar on Saturday. Noted gastroenterologists of the country attended the function which also organized a continued medical education (CME) programme on Inflammatory Bowel Disease which was the theme of this year's observation. Convener of the function Prof S P Singh in his inaugural address spoke at length about the history and importance of the Day and how WDHD is being observed on May 29 of every year since 1958. The function was attended among others by ISG secretary S P Misra.
