Daimary to be quizzed in five criminal cases
KOKRAJHAR: National Democratic Front of Bodoland chief Ranjan Daimary, prime accused in the October 30, 2008 serial blasts in Assam, will be interrogated for his involvement in five criminal cases. Three of the major cases he was involved in Kokrajhar district include an attack on an MP and his convoy at Tipkai in April last year, Superintendent of Police P.K. Dutta said on Sunday. The other two were the killing of All-Bodo Students Union president Swambla Basumatary in 1996 and the looting of the 7th Assam Police Battalion armoury at Charaikhola. — PTI
