Debdoot, Urmimala triumph
KOLKATA: Debdoot Mukherjee of Hooghly and Urmimala Sengupta of South Kolkata picked up the men's and women's singles titles in the finals of the Southern Park Bidyut Sangha golden jubilee table tennis here on Monday.
The results:
Men's singles: Debdoot Mukherjee (Hg) bt Sumit Das (SK) 4-1.
Boys: Junior: Souvik Chowdhury (Hg) bt Ranajit Sen (Hg) 4-2. Sub-junior: Rohan Biswas (Hg) bt Souvik Kangsabanik (Hg) 4-1.
Women's singles: Urmimala Sengupta (SK) bt Priya Saha (Hg) 4-2.
Girls: Junior: Monkankana Sengupta (SK) bt Priya Das 4-2.
Sub-junior: Adrita Brahmachari (Hg) bt Poulami Mukherjee (Hg) 4-1 .
