KANNUR: The Rotary Club of Kannur donated books and a book shelf to the Special Sub Jail here on Tuesday. Additional Director-General of Police (Prisons) Alexander Jacob formally received the books from Rotary International district governor-nominee T. Somashekhanan. Central Jail Superintendent Shivadas Thyparambil and Rotary Club president S. Arumukha Samy were present.
