Bus stand inauguration on June 15

Coimbatore: The newly constructed mofussil bus stand on Mettupalayam Road opposite Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation headquarters is to be inaugurated on June 15.

Inspection

To take stock of the work status and to plan the traffic flow, Corporation Commissioner Anshul Mishra and City Police Commissioner C. Sylendra Babu inspected the bus stand on Friday.

Traffic flow

The officials discussed the entry and exit of buses and traffic flow pattern to ensure smooth functioning.

They said the bus stand would considerably ease congestion within the city especially in Gandhipuram, Tatabad, Sivananda Colony and GP Theatre signal areas.
