JAIPUR: Rajasthan Cooperative Dairy Federation's ‘Saras' dairy booths now would sell Airtel recharge vouchers and SIM cards. IFFCO Kisan Sanchar Limited (IKSL), a joint venture between Airtel and IFFCO, has tied up with the dairy booths for the purpose.
Minister for Food and Civil Supplies and Dairy Babulal Nagar and Sudipto Chowdhury, CEO, Airtel, Rajasthan launched the initiative at a function at the Pink City Press Club here. The tie-up, to come into effect here first, will be replicated in other parts of the State later.
IKSL harnesses the outreach of the telecom to add value to the farming sector by providing the farmer access to vital market information. IKSL offers products and services exclusively designed for farmers through IFFCO societies in villages across the country.
