Two persons killed in separate accidents

KRISHNAGIRI: Rajendran (42) of Madhanakuppam near Krishnagiri was fatally knocked down by an unidentified vehicle on Elathagiri Koot Road on Saturday.

The Kandhikuppam police have registered a case and are investigating.

In another incident, a 60-year-old man was killed when a government bus hit him when he was walking on the Krishnagiri-Dharmapuri National Highway near Avadanapatti.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be known.
