Court summons ex-Minister's OSD

PANAJI: Justice U.D Salvi of the Bombay High Court at Goa on Monday directed Lyndon Monteiro, former Officer on Special Duty to former Tourism Minister Micky Pacheco, to be present in court on Thursday at the next hearing of the anticipatory bail application filed by him.

When the application came up for hearing on Monday, social activist Aires Rodrigues tod the court that the way in which it was filed was fraudulent. Mr. Monteiro's application was filed by his mother, Mr. Rodrigues said adding that an anticipatory bail application can be filed only by the person anticipating arrest.
