Noida petrol pump looted at gun-point

Noida: Five armed robbers on Monday looted Rs.26 lakh from a petrol pump in Sector 35 of the Capital's satellite town here, police said.

The incident took place at around 7 a.m. when the five robbers overpowered a cashier at the Bharat Petroleum pump and looted the booty at gun-point, they said.

The petrol pump staff tried to chase the robbers but in vain.

A police team has reached the site and investigations have begun into the case. -- PTI
