B.Ed. students demand results
Staff Reporter
BANGALORE: Karnataka Janapara Vedike, B.Ed Vidyarthi Poshakara Hitarakshna Samithi will be holding a protest demonstration on Tuesday on the premises of Jnana Bharathi demanding the Bangalore University to announce the withheld results of Second Semester B.Ed examinations of 41 colleges held in December 2009
Association secretary Kumara Samatala told presspersons here on Monday that the students should get justice.
“We want the university to give us a clear response as the new academic year has already been commenced. At least now we need justice,” he said.
He claimed that when the vedike asked the university authorities about this issue, an official chose to be noncommittal and kept postponing decision making.
Manjunath K.L. from Ganga Kaveri College, Rajajinagar, said: “Our results are withheld by the university only because a few people have been irregular or are being pulled up for bad conduct. Everybody should not suffer because of a few,” he added.
