Police seize pirated DVDs in Tirupur

Tirupur: The Tirupur South police seized 246 pirated digital versatile discs (DVDs) of some of the latest Tamil films that have been released in theatres.

The police team made the seizure of the video discs from a video parlour that was located at Velliyangadu.

The raid and the search and seizure were carried out on Monday night, according to police sources here

Arrested

Two salesmen were arrested in this connection.

Police said of the DVDs seized, 17 contained pornographic material.
