Arjitha tickets scandal: notice served on 128 TTD staff

Special Correspondent

TIRUMALA: In a significant development in the inquiry currently under way into the multi-crore Arjitha tickets scandal which rocked the Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams (TTD), the Andhra Pradesh State Vigilance and Enforcement Wing has on Tuesday served notice on as many as 128 TTD personnel.

Those named are all working in the two core departments — Tirumala temple and the Arjitha office, which are in the thick of the controversy.

They are both the in-service and retired personnel and their cadres range from officers to the lowest rank, sources said.
