Scholarship applications invited

CHENNAI: Students belonging to minority communities doing professional courses in technology, engineering, medicine and MBA/MCA may apply for government merit-cum-means scholarships, says a press release issued by the Commissioner of Minorities Welfare P.M. Basheer Ahamed.

The last date for the students to submit their completed applications to their respective institutions will be July 26 for renewal and August 10 for fresh applications. The institutions will then have to include the marks details for the students and submit a consolidated list to the Commissioner before July 30 (for renewal) and before August 13 (for fresh applications).

The forms can be downloaded from www.tn.gov.in/bcmbcmw. Further details are available at the website www.minorityaffairs.gov.in.
