Emphasis on spoken English

KURNOOL: Sasi Kumar, professor of English, laid emphasis on spoken English skills for better career. Addressing a workshop at Ravindra Talent School here on Saturday, Sasi Kumar asked children to learn English without inhibitions. He said most of the students who were worried about mistakes never attempt to acquire the skills. He described English as a global language saying majority of world population spoke English and a great deal of literature and scientific books were available in English. Correspondent P.B.V. Subbaiah was present.
