Staff Correspondent

Start:Youth Congress leader and the former president of the Belgaum Urban Development Authority Anil Potdar flagging off the mini-marathon in Belgaum on Sunday.

Belgaum: A mini-marathon organised as a prelude to the first conference on next-generation infrastructure and sustainable development, by belgaumnext.com, evoked good response from children and the youth, if not from leaders of political parties and Belgaum district authorities whose names were among the invitees to flag off the event in the city on Sunday.

In the absence of 10 of the 11 invitees, Youth Congress leader and the former president of the Belgaum Urban Development Authority (BUDA) Anil Potdar flagged off the event. The event was aimed at creating awareness among the residents towards sustainable and scientific development of Belgaum into a model city.
