CHENNAI:Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi should replace the Munroe statue on Anna Salai with that of Rajaraja I to honour the Tamil hero as part of the World Classical Tamil meet, State BJP president Pon. Radhakrishnan has said.

In a press release issued on Sunday, he said the BJP would also request the Chief Minister to rename Bell's Road as Ma. Po. Sivagnanam Salai to honour the freedom fighter and Tamil scholar. He expressed the hope that Mr. Karunanidhi would make these announcements at the World Classical Tamil meet.
