‘Hawkers important for print media’ Cooperation sought for mutual growth
With gratitude:Newspaper hawkers at the meeting organised in Hubli HUBLI: As many as 250 newspaper hawkers from Hubli participated in the Hawkers’ Meet organised by The Hindu here on Tuesday. G.R. Venkatesh, Regional General Manager of The Hindu, Mangalore, talked about the importance of hawkers in the print media. He thanked them for their cooperation during crises. Assistant Regional Manager (Circulation) Shrikant Deginal said he hoped that the hawkers from Hubli would continue their association with The Hindu and extend cooperation for mutual growth. The office-bearers of the Hubli Newspaper Hawkers’ Association shared their views on the latest trends in the market. Senior Manager (Circulation), Chennai, T. Ravi and Senior Assistant Regional Manager (Advertisement), Hubli, R.Y. Joshi were present.
