Tamang's wife to meet Buddhadeb

KOLKATA: Bharati Tamang, the wife of Madan Tamang, a prominent political leader who was killed in broad daylight in Darjeeling on May 21, is scheduled to meet Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee here onWednesday. Ms. Tamang, who succeeded her husband as the president of the Akhil Bharatiya Gorkha League after his murder wants “justice” and “the immediate arrest of those who had masterminded the killing,” according to a senior leader of the ABGL.

Meanwhile, the indefinite strike called by the GJM entered its fourth day on Tuesday.
