Congress fete to mark anniversaries

VIRUDHUNAGAR: The State unit of the party will organise a three-day function here to mark the birth anniversary of Kamaraj and 125 {+t} {+h} anniversary of the party here in July.
The Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president, K. V. Thangkabalu, conducted a consultative meeting with party cadres from southern districts here on Tuesday.
Union Ministers and State leaders from the party are expected to participate in a public meeting to be held here on July 17.
Virudhunagar MP, Manicka Tagore, and party Virudhunagar district unit president, G. Ganesan, were among those who participated.
