World Music Day celebrated

BHUBANESWAR: Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya (USM), Orissa's premiere college of music, dance and drama the Capital set up by the Government, added a feather to its cap this year by celebrating the World Theatre Day, World Dance Day and World Music Day for the first time this year. This was the unanimous opinion of the guests who addressed the World Music Day celebrations hosted at the college auditorium on Monday.

While Vice-Chancellor of Utkal University of Culture A.K.Patnaik inaugurated the event, USM principal Nabin Parida presided and Akademi awardee Odissi music exponent Ramahari Das, outlined the objectives.
