Congress leaders hold meeting in Sorab

SORAB (SHIMOGA DISTRICT): A day after the former Minister Kumar Bangarappa fumed against his father and former Chief Minister S. Bangarappa, with regard to Congress organisational elections, a meeting was convened here on Wednesday, in the presence of District Returning Officer V.R. Sudarshan.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Kumar Bangarappa, the former Minister Kagodu Thimmappa, district Congress president R. Prasanna Kumar, Madhu Bangarappa, Assistant Returning Officers T.N. Srinivas and Ikkeri Ramesh. The office-bearers of Anvatti and Sorab blocks and supporters of Mr. Kumar Bangarappa participated in the meeting.

It was resolved to chalk out strategies to conduct block-level elections by involving Mr. Bangarappa, Mr. Kumar Bangarappa and Mr. Kagodu Thimmappa.
