Kollam-based cooperative bank to launch mobile service

KOLLAM: A mobile bank is being launched by the Kollam-based Kollurvila Service Cooperative Bank.

Bank president Anzar Aziz said the mobile bank would be inaugurated by Minister for Cooperation G. Sudhakaran on Saturday.

The mobile bank would operate at 15 points coming under the jurisdiction of the head office and three branches of the bank. The facility would be available on all days, except holidays. The mobile bank would arrive at each point at a specific time announced by the bank.

All services, except taking loans after pledging gold ornaments, available at the branches would be available through the mobile bank for customers. Those who had availed themselves of loans can pay the instalments.
