Surveyors want fee to be fixed at Rs. 750

Staff Reporter

Bangalore: Karnataka State Government Licensed Land Surveyors' Association has urged the State Government to increase their fee for carrying out assignment for conducting surveys.

Association general secretary C. Ravikumar told presspersons here on Thursday that a fee of Rs. 300 was fixed in 1998 and the association had been requesting the Government to increase the fee to Rs. 750.

“Crores of rupees of fee is collected in excess of fee to be paid for surveyors,” he added.
